Da’wah Tips from @DawahTips

Ini akun sebenarnya bagus2 twitnya.. cuma sayang udah setahun gak ngetwit2 lagi.. Jadi dicopas deh beberapa ke sini 😉

Da’wah is a lot like doing laundry. As you wash the cloth, your own hands get clean in the process. Da’wah purifies you as you help others.

Even in the face of arrogant, conceited arguments, we need to be humble, kind, and empathetic in our response.

“Whoever guides [another] to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it.” [Muslim]

“Invite to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious.” 16:125

With family, you may want to remind but stop b/c “they’re not that type” or “they won’t get it”. Allah says, regardless, Remind them!

Every action that is not performed for His sake then it is wasted and severed. ibn al-Qayyim

Da’wah shouldnt be about bringing people closer to your certain group; rather it’s about helping people come closer to Allah (Muslim or not)

Not everyone is a scholar but on a basic level, everyone has to give da’wah.

“Convey my teaching (to the people) even if it were one ayah or sentence.” [Bukhari]

There is a difference b/w reasons & wisdoms. Muslimahs wear hijab because Allah commanded it, the wisdoms are endless. Don’t confuse the 2

Sometimes we do not know all the wisdoms of certain commands, but we still obey Allah because the Muslim is one who submits. Plain & simple

Whenever possible, refer brothers to brothers and sisters to sisters to avoid any potenial fitna.

Be connected with those who have knowledge incase you have a question or encounter a problem. Don’t be a self-proclaimed ‘Alim. Use Imams.

“You’re on a conveyor belt to the akhirah bro (or sis), whether you like it or not”…good reminder for all of us.
